Some of my Ideas:
- Have a Dominant Idea system. While in our timeline, democracy and freedom became the words that most countries use, that could easily change. Maybe you could add a check to the government systems of great powers, and add modifiers based on the most dominant governments.
- Add de-jure alliance stuff. Perhaps when NATO goes to war, someone may get an event, and might join US(or whoever, but US is going to be war leader most of the time, let's face it), and leaves NATO if refuses. Also maybe when there's a crisis, the factions usually band together.
- GERMANY WANTS THE DEBT BACK. It would be really fun to be able to create a militant Germany in the later scenarios, not being too easy to create, but not impossible. IT IS possible to play it that way, but it would be more fun if it was fleshed out.
- France's right wings. At some points, I would like opportunities for Legitimists, Orleanists or Bonapartists to have some fun too.
- Give more power to absolute monarchies. As it stands, the only advantage is having a party from the list. It's almost always inferior to Prussian Constitutionalism or HM's Government.
- Give more power to Mobilisation. I have VERY rarely use mobilisation since it crashes my economy, and I would rather just use my standing army.
- Holy Roman Empire is basically a 200 years younger German Empire, and it's ridiculously easy to create, once you create it, the game becomes easy mode. Maybe more steps to create it, or idk.
- Literacy is too easy to raise in early scenarios.
- Have events that can change governments fast when someone from fascists or communists. gets elected. Hitler didn't revoke the right to vote in stages of Vicky 2, he just assumed power almost instantly, and not through slow government forms. Or how Napoleon III did it(I assume he would be in the ultra-nationalist party).
- Ability to integrate Vassals/satellites. Although this sounds like it's straight from EU4, it wasn't that unrealistic to do it. Example:Austria with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
